The Drug Security Forum

2 June 2021

The inaugural Drug Security Forum will be held on 2 June 2021, the opening day of SPIEF 2021. The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Content Foundation for the Development of Expert and Analytical Activity, and will take place with the support of the Subcommittee on the Circulation of Medicines and the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Health Protection. The Forum’s motto is ‘Science and Technology for Health’.

 The Drug Security Forum provides a platform to comprehensively examine the current agenda in medicine provision. It also aims to facilitate collaboration between the public and private sectors, and civil society.

 The Forum’s business programme covers a wide range of issues concerning the provision of medicines, and the theme of the plenary session will be ‘Drug Safety at the Forefront of a Sustainable Healthcare System’.

Mr. Gunaydin joined Amgen Russia in 2019. He has a wide international experience in pharma industry with varying responsibilities in countries like Turkey, Middle East & United States and in different roles in Finance, Strategy and Sales & Marketing areas.

 Mr. Gunaydin holds an MA in Economics from the Bosphorus University, Istanbul.

Sean Reilly
VP & General Manager

Sean Reilly joined GSK Pharma Russia as VP & General Manager on August 1, 2020. Sean reports to Luis Arosemena, SVP Emerging Markets Global Pharma Executive, and leads Russia`s RLT team.

In his role, Sean is responsible for leading Russia's growth agenda across CEP, Respiratory, HIV, Vaccines, and Oncology. He will continue working on "Firebird", Russia accelerated development program, which aims to triple GSK business growth in Russia.

Sean was born in Ireland.

At 22 he moved to Colombia and began working in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical representative. Later Sean held various positions in sales and marketing. Having worked for GSK for 24 years, Sean has strong experience and expertise in pharmaceutical industry. 14 years ago he was appointed to the position of General Manager GSK Colombia.

Before moving to Moscow, Sean held position of General director GSK Mexico.

Sean is married with two children.

Vikram Punia
President Pharmasyntez Group of Companies

Born in Jaipur, India, on March 15, 1973, Mr. Punia is a Russian citizen. He graduated from a prestigious Birla Public School in Pilani, India, and came to Russia in 1992 under a state exchange program for specialists and students between the two countries. In 2000, he graduated from the Far Eastern State Academy of Economics and Management with a degree in Finance and Credit. Mr. Punia lived in Irkutsk in 1992-2010 and has been living in Moscow since 2010. In September 1997, he and some other shareholders founded Pharmasyntez Company in Irkutsk. Since February 2009, he is a sole shareholder of the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies. Mr. Punia is also a co-chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation with India at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a member of a non-profit partnership Leaders Club for Promotion of Business Initiatives at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. He was awarded a Medal for Entrepreneurial Merit by the Irkutsk Region Government in 2017.

Alisa Dzhangiryants has been working in the pharmaceutical market for over 18 years. She joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2012 as a Project Manager for Immunology & Oncology. In 2014, she moved to the position of the Head of the group of Regional Market Access Managers.

Since 2017, he has been the Director of Market Access and Pricing Department.

Alisa graduated from the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
